I was put through to Stephanie Allen - all I can say is what a star she has been I am sure she must be a credit to the company. She was very detailed in her thoughts on cuba and I feel that the options that she gave us were spot on and I can't wait too go! Its like she understood our requirements!

We returned from our first holiday in Cuba on 16th June 2010 after an amazing two weeks. I feel we have had an 'experience' rather than a holiday as we witnessed so many remarkable things.
We stayed in the Brisas hotel in Guardalavaca for 10 nights before heading off to Havana. The rep in the Brisas was extremely helpful and informative and made our stay enjoyable. The hotel was excellent in every way, location, food, hospitality and friendliness was first class. We took the recommended trip to Santiago which provided us with the chance to see the real Cuba away from the resort. The quide Miguel was brilliant and answered any questions we put before him, we saw so much of the historical places in and around Santiago and had a brilliant evening at a local Jazz Club where we witnessed salsa dancing at it's best. The hotel in Havana was just as nice and the rep very helpful. We explored Havana by ourselves taking in the recommended sights provided by the Asi (the rep).
We thoroughly enjoyed our holiday in Cuba so much so we are considering going back next year. The professionalism of the Holiday Place and the organisation of the travel, transfers etc were brilliant and ran to time making the holiday relaxed in every way. Many thanks for your first class service and making our holiday in Cuba a great experience.

Thank you in advance for sorting out a statement from Cubana Airways, it's very much appreciated. I do understand that flights get delayed from time to time it was just a shame that the flight time had changed from 11.20pm to 2.30am in which case we missed our onward flight. But on the upside, at least we weren't stranded at Gatwick airport, we're lucky enough to have some family in Brighton so we got a train down there for a few days until the next available flight home.
I want to take the opportunity to say how impressed we have been with The Holiday Place, from the wonderful service i received with the booking agent, Susan Benns who was just fantastic in organizing our trip to Cuba and who answered a dozen or so emails!!
The lovely women Yordy, our THP representative who met us at the airport and gave us our welcome letter etc, she also came straight to the hotel the following day after my phone call to sort out a problem with checking in!! (the hotel told us our booking wasn't until the 21st May!! we arrived on the 12th!) and also the other THP rep, San, who was absolutely amazing, a real credit to the company. We had run out of baby milk! so he got us some, no problem, he also recommended a fabulous trip, 'Cuba inside' which we found to be a wonderful insight to the area of Holguin. The tour guide on that trip was great, she was very knowledgable and answered any questions we had, i think everyone on that bus that day had a really good time.
The hotel, Playa Pesquero was incredible, we loved our stay there and we would love to go back one day, the staff were all so friendly and willing to help with anything. My little daughter had the time of her life as did we. The food there was always great, we loved the choice of restaurants and bars.
We also liked the fact that there were showers available for use in the reception area which come in very handy when you have a late flight.
We flew to Havana for the last few days of our holiday and stayed in the Parque Central, which was in a fantastic location. Our THP rep there was Jorge, who did our welcome meeting and gave us all the information we needed for checking in at the airport on our departure. I must say the only problem with the meeting was that it was a 9.30am which was pretty early considering we didn't get in to the hotel til gone midnight the night before! i did notice that half the people that checked in with us that evening were not at the meeting!! But he was always on call if you needed him.
Havana is an amazing city, we enjoyed this part of our trip very much and the hotel itself was fabulous. The day we left, we asked reception if we could stay in our room longer as our departure to the airport wasn't until 10.30pm and the manager on duty said it would be no problem as we had a small child and she let us have the room until 8pm (at no extra charge) which was fantastic, it gave us chance to put our daughter down for a nap in the afternoon and shower in the comfort of our own room.
We have had a fantastic holiday and i can't thank The Holiday Place enough for their 5 star service and your staff in the UK and Cuba are all wonderful.

I just wanted to write to tell you how much we enjoyed our recent holiday to Egypt. Everything went so well. The Sherrt Boat was lovely, staff and service excellent as well as the food and no one suffered from the tummy upsets you hear of so often in Egypt. The organisation from booking, through the travelling and checking that all was well during our holiday all made us feel that we were important to you, that you really wanted us to enjoy our whole experience.
I am already recommending your company, and the boat to friends and relatives. We will have no reservations of using your services again.

Subject: The Ritz Carlton Sharm El Sheikh Egypt
Having just returned from our Hotel Holiday, I write to express my thanks to all of your booking staff who were most helpful in England. At the hotel we were met by your local Agent, who fully explained the facilities, wished us a good holiday, and left us with his contact details, should we have any problems. I write mainly to congratulate you on your choise of local representation. With the return flight problems, Mr. Rabie Nassar far exceeded our expectations with his service, and thoroughly professional, yet caring attitude. We heard horror stories from fellow guests, who were more than frustrated at the lack of information, and indeed blatent lies told to them by the Agents of "larger operators." We were almost reluctant to tell them of the service offered by Rabie though of course we did!
When it was clear that we could not fly home on 20TH April, he asked us to meet him in reception at midday. His first hand knowledge of the situation at the airport was wildly different to the details offered to other guests by their contacts (when they actually met them) - his details were also 100% correct! Rabie was able to offer us a special room-rate for four nights (though we only stayed on Tuesday, and were assured that we would only be charged for that.) What really impressed us both was, though he could not guarantee anything, he asked us to keep a telephone with us, and be ready to leave at short notice should seats become available. Other guests had been flown off to Spain, or moved to other accomodation, or worse, left to their own devices.
Anyway, he telephoned on Wednesday, and we were collected to meet him at the Airport. Once again he asked us not to be too hopeful, but that he would do what he could. This is where he really got to work! We could see him trying every way he could to get us on the flight to Gatwick, and I do not know how he did it,in amongst the crowd, but after about twenty minutes he guided us to the check-in desk, spoke to the clerk, and we had our boarding passes. Thank goodness the other hotel guests did not see Mr. Nassar, in action -there would have been a riot! We truely believe that he put so much effort into our care because he is really dedicated to his work, and I do hope you are able to convey our thanks to him.
We shall recommend that any of our friends travelling to Egypt book through The Holiday Place, and if your overseas representatives are all as dedicated as Rabie, I am sure you will recieve many letters such as this in the future.

We are writing to thank you so much for all of the help and advice that you have given to us in the booking and planning of our wedding package honeymoon at Sandals in Varadero, Cuba 3 - 17 March 2010.
The service that we have received from you both has been excellent, top rate! I can not commend you both highly enough for the prompt and efficient manner which you have responded to any queries that we have had. everything has been co-ordinated so well and our holiday, wedding ceremony and honeymoon went without a single hitch.
The resort in Varadero and the hotel in Havana were superb. I would also like to take the opportunity to highly commend your on site representatives who were excellent and extremely helpful. Yarlene who dealt with us at the Sandals Royal Hicacos Resort was very friendly and knowledgeable. She is a credit to your organisation in Cuba.
Whilst we are not in any rush to get married again (lol) we would definately use The Holiday Place again to book a holiday as the service has been superb.
From the intial contact in October when we booked until we flew in March you have been professional, friendly incredibly efficiant and it has provided us with so much reassurance about what for us was a life changing event. Thank you so much. We would also thank Arlin the wedding co-ordinator who made our big day on 10 March 2010 run so smoothly. The day and the ceremony itself was incredible and so romantic. We were made to feel special from the moment we arrived to the moment that we left the resort. (We have emailed Arlin to thank her seperately).
The NH Parque Central was especially wonderful with the upgrade to a superior room that gave wonderful views of the city. We loved the time we spent in Havana and have many wonderful memories from our time there too. The tips given to us by your Havana representative were invaluable and made our visit even better! The staff at the hotel were also extremely professional.

Subject: jamaica holidays
Hi,
We have just returned from our holidays in Sunset Beach hotel in Montego Bay and we would like to let you know how much we have enjoyed it!
Everything was just great! Although it was impossible to get the room in the quieter part of hotel which we requested, our room was superb - located in the main building, very spacious and with beautiful ocean view. The beach was just outside the hotel building and there was a naturist beach five minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel itself was great. The staff was very friendly and professional. The food was delicious, as were the cocktails. There were a lot of facilities for children and various entertainment programs each night for both kids and adults. We bought few additional excursions, which we just loved as the wild nature of Jamaica we saw is breathtaking.
The organization side of our holiday was really good too and we would like to thank you for making it so stress free. We will definitely book with you in the future.

Wonderful atmospheric hotel, right in the middle of Old Havana. Built by the mob, with pictures of Al Capone in the lobby. It feels like an old shoe, very comfortable when you get to know it. Old Havana is also unique with some amazing music to be heard in the various bars, a lot of which are within a five minute stroll from the hotel.
We would also like to pass on our personal thanks to George the senior Rep for the Holiday Place in Havana. My wife had an accident on our first day, 2 hours before we were due to be picked up to fly to Cayo Largo. We rang George, who drove over immediately, sorted out the hospital and made sure we were picked up for our flight. He made our holiday. Thank you The Holiday Place we have already recommended you to four other friends and we will be back for a holiday next year.

Subject: sandals royal caribbean resort and private island
I would particularly like to thank Ardash Shah for his help in rescheduling my holiday after it was cancelled due to Gatwick airport being closed on my original day of travel. We should have been travelling to Sandals Antigua but this could not be re booked due to the high season. Ardash continually kept me updated on what he was doing to find an alternative holiday, he was very professional and understood that I was obviousely upset as our original holiday had to be cancelled.
I was also concerned that there may have been some additional costs involved even though we couldnt travel through no fault of our own. At no point was insurance or any other financial penalty mentioned and it made the whole process much easier to deal with.
We will definately use The Holiday Place again for future bookings

We have just returned from a most enjoyable holiday at the Hilton Sharks Bay Egypt. I would throughly recommend the hotel for its staff, rooms and the snorkelling. We were in the older part of the hotel which we preffered to the very modern and new part. The food was much better than i had expected for an all inclusive hotel.

Subject: Nile cruise and holiday in Egypt
We have just returned from our Nile cruise and holiday in Egypt and would like to say a huge thanks and congratulate the Holiday Place and their egents Excel for the outstanding service we have received.
We were met at every destination by a manager from Excel - even boarding the boat when it docked on several occasions to check that everything was OK - a service no other passengers received. The tour manager/guide on the Nile Odessy - Michael William was excellent.
After the cruise we were escorted on every occasion to our onward destinations by a smart and courtious manager with great local knowledge and were checked into hotels, airports etc. We were given printed information at every destination.
The boat and hotels were all of good standard and we remain very impressed by the whole experience.

Dear Mark,
I just wanted to email to say thank you so much for your help organizing our recent holiday to Mauritius. We were incredibly impressed by the service you offered and your level of knowledge and it was what made the difference in our decision not to look at any other holiday companies. In addition to this the price you were able to offer was very competitive.
Although we had done quite a bit of research ourselves, it was reassuring to get your advice and ideas about Les Pavillons – particularly the suggestion of an anniversary celebration. The hotel itself was outstanding – the General Manager met us when we arrived and we were upgraded to the Ocean Suite which was just fabulous. The staff and facilities did not disappoint – and we would highly recommend the hotel to friends and family.
Asides from the staff, room, facilities, two aspects we particularly enjoyed was that the hotel offered yoga or mediation every morning which I was able to enjoy so if you have any clients looking for this type of relaxation, I would highly recommend it. For my husband there was a fantastic kite surfing school about a 20 minute walk up the beach (the hotel are working on a contract with the kite surfing school so that they will pick clients up). The school was very well organized and the teachers some of the best we had come across.
Overall it was a fantastic holiday and we wanted to pass on our thanks to you for all your help.

I must say the ground staff for Villa Holidays who met us at Male Airport was particularly helpful - especially as i'm 5 months pregnant! The resort is so lovely and the hospitality was fantastic.

Thank you so much for providing first class service when we were booking our holiday. Your hard work and information was very helpful and much appreciated :) Our holiday went very smoothly, we had no problems at all and all of your representatives in Cuba were terrific!
The 4 nights in Comodoro Bungalows in Havana were great - we did a few excursions which I can definitely recommend to others - The City Tour in Vintage Cars, Jazz & Tradition night out and the trip to Vinales. We then transferred to Aguas Azules Hotel in Varadero via The Trip to the Heart of Cuba. It was a great option to have as we didn’t loose a day just sitting in a bus but explored more of Cuba on the way - the jeeps are so much fun!
During our 10 nights in Varadero we also decided to go on the Seafari trip in where we swam with dolphins – amazing! We didn’t get to do the trip to Trinidad but heard it was also very nice – so maybe next time :)
Overall the bungalows in both hotels were clean and spacious and the staff was very helpful. We met a lot of people who had booked though The Holiday Place and everyone was satisfied and would definitely recommend you to their family and friends. So once again a big thank you to The Holiday Place, mainly you Alexandra, we can’t wait to book another holiday with you! This has been our best holiday ever! :)

Well, what can I say? You guys have been absolutely fantastic!
We were very impressed with your service prior to our holiday and this excellent service not only continued but far exceeded our expectation when our vacation commenced. Thank you very much for pre-booking our flight seats, it was obviously great that we could all sit next to each other and it became evident that even though we were one of the first to check-in other couples were struggling to sit next to each other. This was a wonderful touch. Both Monarch flights left as scheduled, although the return flight was very cramped, but this was due to the old-style aircraft.
Rabie met us at Sharm and whisked us through (queue jumping!!!) to Passport control - again, very impressed!
The Hilton was very comfortable, they offered us a free upgrade to the new part, which we declined as we wanted to be closer to the beach for snorkelling. Although the new part was very spectacular it was rather clinical and lacked atmosphere, so most of us were glad of the decision (the boys would have preferred to watch football in their rooms on a 32" plasma!!!) The staff were amazing and made us feel like we were VIP's! The Animation team definitely made our holiday for us to the point where email addresses and telephone numbers were exchanged.
Out of the 8 of us 6 of us did unfortunately experience the Sharm Egyptian tummy but this didn't spoil things for us. We soon became aware that this is a Sharm problem and not a hotel problem and it certainly wouldn't stop us from returning.
A very big thank you to both you and your team at The Holiday Place, long may this excellent service continue and we look forward to using you again in the future.

Our second week was spent in hurghada at the hilton long beach Fab we were met by Abdu your rep what a fantastic man he sorted a great room out for us, he saw the head chef on behalve of my wife who cannot eat anything with wheat in it the chef looked after us 100% Abdu is a credit to your company. So once again holiday place thank you for the best holiday ever.

Hi All,
I must write to express the gratitude of our party on our recent trip to Egypt.
You may remember that we had originally booked to attend our son's wedding in Alexandria on 7th April, but were badly let down when Cosmos advised, after receipt of full payment and confirmation of booking, that they could not meet our requirements - which is where you came to the rescue.
We were met at Cairo airport (immediately after stepping off the plane) by your agents (Excel Travel / The Holiday place). Visa's and transit through immigration was effortless with the agents taking control of everything. We were escorted to a waiting mini-bus and taken to our first hotel whereby the agent (Ahmed Gabr) arranged check-in at the Movenpick Media City hotel and arranged to meet us in a few days for our onward journey to Alexandria. This hotel was clean and service attentive, however, to our cost we discovered that the hotel provided taxi's were an experience to say the least. After several hours of our driver being "lost" in Cairo amid the manic traffic and taking us to the wrong locations, only a phone call to Ahmed (Excel) resoved the situation to our satisfaction - well nearly!!. On return, the hotel was unconcerned over the incident although Ahmed was most apologetic (even though this was not at any point any of his doing). Ahmed recommended that we contact him (Excel) for any future trips, or indeed any requirements we had - this we did without further incident - thanks again Ahmed. Drinks were expensive at the Movenpick as you are a captive audience - nothing close by to walk to so no competition - £19.00 Sterling for six cans of Pepsi!!! - food OK, but not great.
Our journey to Alexandria (four hours with stops) was both comfortable and safe. We were again collected by the Excel agents. Our mini-bus driver and our guide (Ahmed Shahin) were both friendly a pleasure to travel with, indicating points of interest and local culture / customs along the way. Again our check-in at the Sheraton Montazah hotel was taken care of by Ahmed Shahin and again the rooms provided were very good. Again, we were contacted by phone shortly after arrival in Alexandria by Excel Travel (Ahmed Gabr) to confirm everything was OK and to our satisfaction. Food was better at this hotel and the location was good for things to see on foot. Prices were also more reasonable with shops nearby.
The agents again arrived for our return journey to Cairo where we were transported safely to the Hilton Pyramids Hotel Golf resort. Again check-in was completed for us, followed by a phone call a little later to confirm all was again OK. This hotel was excellent. I don't know why, but wew were given the Safari Suite (on two floors) plus another room. Attention to detail was faultless, the food was superb and to our surprise prices were very reasonable. Our only regret at this location was that we had not stayed here for the first three nights as this hotel is only a few miles from the Movenpick we stayed at initially, but with far more facilities and luxuries / amenities.
Finally, we were collected and returned to the airport whereby we were escorted though security, check-in, immigration and to the gate by staff from Excel Travel. Please onpass our sincere thanks to all concerned in making our visit to Egypt a pleasure and trouble free experience.
We will have no hesitation in making the Holiday Place our first call for future trips - of whatever nature or destination based on this experience and will be recommending your Company to family, friends and work colleagues for their holiday requirements..

Well, just thought I would give you some feedback on the Beach House Maldives, and the usual stay at the Royal Meridian Dubai.
Outbound, all good except the routing via Sri Lanka, but unavoidable I guess. In spite of that, all connections were good, and the assistance from the Beach House Staff at Male and Hammamandoo airport were first class.
Arrival at the Beach House was early AM, but staff were on the Jetty waiting to take us to the Villa. Villa was excellent, and my only 2 complaints would have been an issue with the IPOD connection that wouldn’t let me navigate my music files, and having to pay for internet connection (picky aren’t I… :-))
The Return journey was just as efficient, and it was a seamless connection at all points, Big thanks to Beach House reps again, esp at Male Airport. Arrival the Royal Meridian was also pleasant, as we were upgraded to one of the best suites in the hotel, room 1007 in the tower. Not sure if this was the Holiday Place’s influence or a Hotel decision, none the less, very welcome.
Just an FYI for you and your team, you may already know, but soon the Beach House management is being restructured under the Hilton Astoria name. Not sure if that’s gonna be better or not?
Anyway, as usual, we got exactly what you said we would, and will be contacting you again for our next trip. On that note, do you list anything for the Island of Venuato??? I’m looking at late July, early August…

Subject: Good place to Relax and Chill Out - Hilton Mauritius Resort and Spa
My wife and I are just back from the Hilton and I had to write this review, having read some of the other reviews I was tempted to suffer the extra money and change. But No we went.
Firstly let me explain that I am A Hilton Hhonours member and first looked at the hotel on the hilton Web site, the prices were enough to frighten any mortal man or women!
We ended up booking through "The Holiday Place-Thanks Louise Hadi" It was cheaper by far. The experience from being picked up at the Airport in a BMW 530 and given a running commentary of each town as we drove through, was very informative (The driver did ask, that if we were too tired after our flight, he would turn the music on and we could relax!!)
On arrival the Hilton do go out of there way to make you feel special from the sounding of the Gong and your welcome cocktail. We stayed there for 14 nights and I find it hard to fault anything about our stay. Only one gripe really-: The room was supposed to be Seaview deluxe, having stayed at Hiltons in the USA and Europe, there was'nt much about it to call it deluxe, but other than that, it surficed as a home away from home for 2 weeks.
As far as food was concerned we were on Half Board basis and as per many other reviewers we had a bottle of Duty free in our room.(I asked them to clear out the Mini Bar and got a signature from the Mini Bar replenisher to that effect,then used it as a fridge!!)
The meals were great with loads of choice, and a thing that many previous reviewers did'nt mention, if you want something else ASK. The Staff, chefs, servers will go out of their way to get you whatever you want. Special mention to Steve, who, we don't know how or want to, managed to get us the same table every night.
Having stayed there for 14 nights we had a few problems, but so minor, because of Venessa and her staff in Customer Services (Ken, Misha, Sharon, and the trainee, as Ken called her!!) you just ring extension 4507 and they have it sorted out within the hour.
(EG:- Our soap dish in the shower broke one evening and before we could report it they were at the door first thing the next day to fix it, the turn down maid had reported the fault )(Thanks to Indira)
Remember it is their Winter, so be prepared, it might rain (They supply you with an umbrella in your Wardrobe!!) The pool area is well serviced By Diana (as previously mentioned in other reviews!) You get one large bottle of water every evening in your room and if you go to the pool area early you get one small bottle too,as well as Diana coming round with little pieces of Fruit on a stick.
Not to waffle to much longer, but yes it is expensive, we managed to have a late breakfast, and a cuppa in our room with some local bought bickies in the late afternoon and then down for dinner, ordering a bottle of RED wine and a bottle of Still water, every night costing 1259.25 MUR.(Not really practical if your taking children!)
A trip to Wolmar or Flic-en-Flac to the Supermarkets is a must, at the time of writing they are currently fixing up a hotel complex just down from the Hilton which makes walking into Wolmar pretty hairy with the construction traffic, but it's about 15 minutes walk to Wolmar. All in All a great place to relax and chill out.
If they marketed the Hilton a bit better with daily Spa specials, and other deals people would spend more money, like everything else, if you think your getting a deal you'll pay. Thanks for Reading and relax if you do go!!

Just wanted to say a big ‘thank you’ to The Holiday Place and to Susan who did our booking for the most wonderful holiday we just had in Cuba. It has become one of my favourite destinations with its perfect mix of city/culture & beach.
Havana is the most glorious city – so full of history with so much to see. We stayed at NH Parque Central, a wonderful hotel with a great location in the heart of Havana. It has a lovely pool on the roof (with a great view of Havana) which was perfect to relax after a day of sightseeing. From the moment we arrived, your staff were incredible – they were always available and so helpful and just wanted to ensure we had a great and memorable time (which we did!). Special mention to Ernesto & Morfi who were just wonderful, and organised some great tours for us – the highlight being a 2 hr drive round Havana in a vintage convertible car – something everyone who goes to Havana MUST DO!!
After 4 fun packed days & nights in Havana, Varadero was the perfect place to relax and unwind and enjoy the sun! Blau Varadero is a lovely hotel with great pool and beautiful beach. Again, your rep Sandra, was wonderful and very helpful and we did not want our holiday to end! I cannot wait to go back!!

Dear Mr Tony Gajic - Holiday Place UK and Mr Ernesto Blanco – The Holiday Place Varadero, Cuba
We had the pleasure of staying at Blau Hotel in Varadero, Cuba as from Jan 31st until Feb 12th – 2009.
We had arranged the flights from Denmark to arrival Havana Airport ourselves and booked coach & hotel trough The Holiday Place UK – Mr Tony Gajic. 2 of our 4 suitcases did unfortunately not turn up upon arrival HAV Airport but we got an irregularity-report issued and was met at the Airport by Holiday place rep´s as promised to take us to Blau Hotel in Varadero.
Next morning we met up with Sandra Borges Sanchez in the lobby of Hotal Blau – just to get a quick info about the area – Varadero in General and also hear about the possible tours we could book. Informing Sandra about the irregularity of the suitcases, she immediately to “ownership” and promised us to call – check and advise on a regular basis.
The service level of Sandra was AMAZING and VERY VERY GOOD… We have never ever, elsewhere in the World where we have travelled, met a service level like the one provided by Sandra Borges Sanchez… We got updates constantly reg. our missing suitcases by mobile text-messages (From early AM to very late PM as well daily !!) and got a lot of tips as well reg. Varadero and the tours in general as well.
On day 4 of our stay (After 09 PM !!) we got a text-message from Sandra with confirmation that our suitcases had arrived in Havana Airport and would be delivered the following morning to Blau Hotel in Varadero, which they were and all in good condition – nothing missed. Sandra provided us with a claim form we should use towards our own insurance company here in Denmark, to get compensation from the costs we have had to buy some new clothes etc for our kids – again top top service !!
Reason for writing this “recommendation – Thank you mail” is of course to cheer the work and top professional service provided by your local rep. Sandra Borges Sanches… People in general complain about “anything” but seems to forget to praise and say thank you when you get really great service…. We had NOTHING to complain about and A LOT to PRAISE… Mainly thanks to Sandra but also to Tony Gajic in the UK and The Holiday Place in General…!!
WE WILL (HOPEFULLY SHORTLY) USE YOUR GREAT COMPANY & SERVICE AGAIN !!

We had a fabulous time the Universal/Islands of Adventure/Seaworld resorts were really quiet we had no waiting for rides!!! Weather sunny and warm - connecting flights absolutely fine.

Dear Holiday Place,
In September this year Cuba. We had 2 situations whereby our flights were cancelled and re-scheduled for the next day this was of great inconvenience to us. The Staff in the Comodoro Bungalows, Havana, Cuba were good with dealing with the situation at hand, helping to make the rest of our stay as smooth as possible.
I went to Cuba for treatment a well as a Holiday and on my return, my medication was confiscated from my suitcase. Everything being in Spanish, I had no -one who could help. I contacted the ‘Holiday place’ representative, Jorge Morfi from the Comodoro Bungalows. We have had countless email conversations and phone conversations and with his good will and help, this wonderful gentleman went way beyond his call of duty in helping with my appeal for my medication and successfully getting it back to me safely and securely.
I just want to make you aware what a wonderful member/members that you have that represent your company in Havana. Although I have thanked Jorge, I don't know if he really realises how grateful we really are. In sending this letter I hope that you will afford Jore Morfi the commendation he deserves.

The rep came and met us in the airport and saved us queuing for a visa as he explained that we didn't need one and he waited while we got our cases. We were transfered on our own to the hotel which was lovely and when we checked they they upgraded us to a suite at no extra cost which was a wonderful suprise and made the holiday that extra bit special.

We are your clients: Joanna Sanders and Yolanta Sanders and we have just came back from Cuba, where we went on 23 August 2008. We flew from London Gatwick to Holguin, then by internal flight from Santiago to Havana (on 29 August), and yesterday night from Havana to London Gatwick.
We would like to praise your representatives: Gordy in Holguin (who also looked after us in Guardalavaca) and Felix in Santiago. They have been extremely helpful, professional, friendly and efficient. We have travelled a lot in our lives but we have never met with such helpful services by a representatives of a travel company.
On the 29th August we had a serious problem with our internal flight: it did not show on Cubana computers at the airport and, had it not been for the help of Gordy and Felix, we would have had to spend a night at the airport and to pay for our flight again (=twice) and to claim/resolve this problem once back here in London. We phoned Gorgy from Santiago airport, she liaised with Felix, Holiday Place representative in Santiago, Felix came by taxi (it was late evening) to the airport, paid for our tickets so that we can fly this very night.
We can not imagine such service and help anywhere else. They really saved our day!
As it happened, this particulasr night, 29 August was my daughter's birthday and thanks to Gordy and Felix she will have happy memories. Please, convey our thanks to both of them. You have an excellent staff!

This is now the second holiday I’ve booked through the Holiday Place (the first was a trip to Cuba and Havana) and wouldn’t hesitate to book again (in fact Tariq is quoting us as we speak)
As a result of the service your team have provided me, I’ve referred my parents who have booked a trip with you, a friend who as also booked a trip and another friend who is receiving quotes from you at the moment.
My latest holiday was to Legends in Mauritius and then on to the Mina a Salam in Dubai – Not a cheap trip by any stretch of the imagination and actually you were £50 per person more expensive than the cheapest quote however we booked via The Holiday Place purely based on the service we received when we went to Cuba.
My only gripe is that Anna Taverson doesn’t work for you any longer (she was fantastic) however keep up the good work, and me and my wife very much look forward to booking with you again soon.

Dear Gosia
I would like to personally thank you for all your hard work and attention in making our holiday and wedding a most wonderful experience. Joe and I and our four children enjoyed Cuba very much and really didn't want to return to England.
The hotel was clean and the rooms spacious and after the first night we got the interconnecting room we requested. The maids were fantastic, always hard working and left the room in an absolutely pristine condition with different towel designs on the beds each day! The children has lots to do during the day, however, the entertainment for the children in the evening could be improved.
The food was plentiful but rather off putting as they cater for so many nationalities, but if you put aside the items you wouldn't eat, the food that you chose was well cooked and enjoyable.
We went on the Jeep Safari which was a fantastic adventurous day out both adults and children enjoyed it. We also visited Havana which was most exhilarating.
With regard to the wedding…well……..we all really enjoyed the day, we were made to feel quite special, and by the friends that we met too. The champagne and flowers and t-shirts were lovely surprises on the day before the wedding, the wedding day and the post wedding breakfast (they even brought breakfast to the room for the children too!). We took advantage of the video and photo package and the results were good. The band at the wedding were super………..well I could go on and on, but one last important thing is that Estella at the Brisas is an extremely, hard working, caring, helpful person and I would like you to convey this message to her.
We will all have fond and lasting memories of Cuba.
Thanks again Gosia, and if we can go away next year we will be in touch.

Had a fab time in Cuba, what an amazing place.
Both resorts were great, although the Blau Costa Verde could do with some maintenance, others were moaning, but we were quite happy with the place!
Can you cost up for 2009 for us? Leaving 25 July onwards for two weeks. Definitely Parque Central again, but maybe a different hotel in Guardalavaca.

You might remember that it was her 30th birthday on 5 June. She was delighted with the towel, cake and champagne that she got from the Holiday Place and I wanted to pass on my thanks to everyone involved in doing that for her which made the day extra special for her.

Hi Tariq,
just back from Cuba after 3 nights in Havana and 7 nights in the Blau Varadero. Fantastic. I think the 3 nights in Havana is a good idea as it gives you time to recover from the long Cubana flight (delayed) via Holquin and without the need to do a long transfer upon arrival. It takes a day to recover, so you really are only at full steam by the second day. We did the City Tour in Vintage Cars..... absolutely brillant. Five hours, just long enough and with no meals included, just pure sightseeing with a excellent Cubanacan guide called Moira (for short).
They we transferred to the Blau in Varadero. This hotel may not have the best food in the world but I rank it as one of the best hotels I ever stayed in due to the relaxed atmosphere. The staff at the Blau are superb, both friendly and efficient. Great beach. Did the swimming with Dolphins, 45 minutes in the water with them, not some Disney rip off in Florida. This was the highlight of the holiday for my son.
Tour operators are all good as long as things go according to plan. But as we got to the top of the checkin for the Cubana flight back home we were informed that there was a problem. Not enough seats for all!!! Eventually it was made clear that there 9 would need to stay behind.
"Your Man in Havana"
I would like to say that Ernesto did trojan work in trying to resolve a very difficult situation that was not created by his doing or that of Holiday Place. This man was brilliant! He organised taxis to take us to the Melia Cohiba 5 star hotel, put us into deluxe rooms (3 doubles and 3 singles). My son thought he was in paradise, his own room in a 5 star. The next morning George met us with our tickets home. Our route home was with Air France (fantastic) via Paris to Dublin. As our original tickets with Cubana were to London, I felt Ernesto had gone far above his obligations by insisting with Cubana that we get back to Dublin rather than Paris - London. A Holiday Place rep met us at the Cohiba to ensure a smooth taxi pickup on 5.30pm. When we got to the airport George was in the checkin queue to ensure we our place at the front. We then left Havana on time with a super airline, landed early in Paris and was home a few hours later in Dublin.
I must be honest and say we three got the best deal of any one coming home on CU400.I would like it brought to the attention of your MD the efforts that both Ernesto and George went to to resolve this problem. Using Cubana does not make their life easy.
From the moment I booked with yourself (who by the way, was most professional and polite) I had a great experience with Holiday Place. Thank you all for a holiday my son will never forget and the flight problems turned out to be the icing on the cake. We will talk about it for many years to come.
Would I recommend Holiday Place ? Absolutely!
Would I use Holiday Place again ? Absolutely!

All the couriers from Eastmar were very attentive and on time for all the transfers. A special mention of our Egyptologist RAMEZ, without doubt the best guide we have ever had.

We wanted to say thanks for a great holiday. The week at The Oriental in Sharm was very relaxing. The hotel is clean, elegant, well facilitated and the staff professional in all aspects. My biggest thanks would have to go to the rep from East Mar Travel who meet us at the airport and collected us on our return. He was exceptional in his service, making us feel safe and welcome.He even saw us through the airport on departure, through to security.
The only complaint we had to make was at the start of the holiday, when told that we needed to collect tickets 3 hours prior to flight and the Airport Agencies desk is not manned until 2 - 2.5 hrs before flight. This is obviously a miss communication between yourselves and Airport Agencies that causes a frustrating hour for customers.
However it is with thanks that I send this e-mail and I hope to do business with yourselves in the future.

Just got back a few days ago from our holiday as detailed below and just want to thank you for a fantastic time that we all had.
From setting foot on the plane at Manchester to departing Luxor at the end of our hols everything went according to plan – we were looked after by The Holiday Place reps as soon as we set foot in Luxor airport and they sorted everything out until we got aboard The Commodore. From there on the staff on board were very attentive and our tour guide (Amira) was brilliant. We had a small group of 12 to start with for the 1st half of the week which was really great as Amira got us to the temples and sights early and promptly before the crowds emerged!! All the excursions were well planned and as we normally go on holidays where we plan everything ourselves it was great to have this done for us.
All in all we had a brilliant time in Egypt and would definitely recommend and book again with The Holiday Place. We were very impressed that the rep from The Holiday Place accompanied us all the way through to departure at Luxor and even got us to the front of the booking in queue!!! – perhaps he wanted to make sure he got rid of us!! Ha Ha!!
Thanks again for a fantastic time – everything was as expected and in most cases better than we thought it would be, however just one criticism was that the coffee on board was as weak as dish water!! But that is the only complaint we have so not bad eh!!

To Leah and the Holiday Place,
Thank you for organising our brilliant holiday to Cuba in January of this year, visiting Guardalavaca, Santiago and Havana. All our transfers went without a hitch and it was all beautifully organised. We went on the tour of the countryside in Guardalavaca and a city tour in Santiago. Both the tours were excellent and good value for money. All the reps gave good advice and didn't only push the excursions, I would particularly like to mention Felix in Santiago, who was charming and very helpful.
The hotel in Santiago was little disappointing but adequate for our short stay. However the resort hotel, Paradisus Rio de Oro, was brilliant with superb service and excellent friendly staff. The hotel Parque Central in Havana is in the very best location - thanks to Leah for recommending it over the Nacional de Cuba (which was nice, we went had a look round), but ours was much better for getting out to the older music bars and restaurants that Havana is all about.
Cuba was all we expected and more, we just loved the atmosphere of the place. We will definately go back and will certainly use the Holiday Place again.

I just wanted to let you know that the service we received from your agents in Egypt was excellent. They met us at the airport with a visa so we didn't have to queue. They explained everything really clearly and in lots of detail. They escorted us to the hotel in El Gouna and helped with check-in. I didn't expect this, I just thought they'd put us in a car and we'd sort ourselves out when we got there. I also had an accident (broke my foot!!) while I was there and they dealt with the situation brilliantly, even getting us a room upgrade in El Gouna!!

After returning from the Blau Varadero I thought I would write to say that we had a fantastic time, the hotel lived up to everything that we expected. From the moment we arrived the service from the hotel staff was of a very high standard, they were friendly, polite and could not do enough for us.
All the rooms were ready for us on arrival and again these did not disappoint us they even managed to get us the interconnecting room. All the facilities were as promised and suited everybody in the party. There was something for everyone to do or not as we had a lot of lazy days. The beach was an added bonus again which meant people could choose between that and the pool.
I would also like to mention Sandra the rep; again she was very professional and took care of us and everything that we needed. Even came in on her day off to sort out an excursion that was cancelled due to bad weather. She went out of her way to make sure everything was right for us and our friends.
Just the one point that I need you to look at is the client report form that was faxed from Cuba, with regards to Mr Jackson not being picked up by the transfer coach and having to get a taxi to the resort, we filled in the form to claim back the fare. This is a very minor detail on what was a superb holiday and a great recommendation on your part.
I will be putting a review onto trip advisor for any other travellers wishing to visit this hotel and will of course mention we booked it through the Holiday Place. I would also recommend this to friends and cannot wait to return myself,

Having returned from Cuba just a while ago, I just want to thank you for helping to put together what I found to be an amazing trip. I was so clueless at the start and organising a trip for more than 2 people was always going to prove to be a challenge. Especially when it involved visiting 3 different places within Cuba, sorting out internal transfers and accommodation! You were patient enough to realise that you were talking to a bunch of poor people and after an exchange of several emails, provided us with an itinerary and a good price. The Holiday Place was very efficient when one of our party couldn’t make it, and were flexible to make the necessary changes to the holiday.
Our flight was pleasant and we arrived in sunny weather. There was a Holiday Place rep waiting to inform us that our transfer to our hotel was ready and waiting. AC, comfy seats and fresh sugar cane – excellent! Arriving in our hotel and not knowing what to expect, the hotel were happy to change one of our rooms and we were told that our tour rep would meet us in the morning!
Enter Felix!! He must be one of the loveliest men I have ever met. He was so patient with us, answered our questions, gave us an in depth account into the history of Cuba and was in general absolutely lovely! At no time did he not act professionally and was more of a friend than a tour guide. I asked him where I could find a cake to help celebrate one of our birthdays to which he found me a home made one! He’s absolutely charming! His genuine warmth is lovely and his knowledge may not know any flaws! A lovely, lovely guy!
Our tour guide in Havana was lovely as was our driver (both whose names I’ve forgotten!). Accommodating to what we wanted to do, stopping when we needed, giving us advice on cigars and money changing! And also the lady in your bungalows at the Commodoro was pleasant and delightful. Our rep in Varadero was excellent in providing us with information regarding excursions but it seemed that that’s all she was interested in. It was very hard to get in touch with her as well. However, the excursions here were the best and we had a wicked time skydiving (amazing!), swimming caves, discovery jeep touring and swimming with the dolphins!
It was an amazing holiday so thank you. Thank you also for putting up with all our randomness as well just before we left!!

Just a short email to let you know how much we enjoyed the Trip to Cuba with Holiday Place, how impressed I was that you could make the holiday around the times I requested – the 5* Saratoga hotel in Havanna was truly excellent, and a proper 5*, when the airport transfer coach pulled up outside the hotel, I said to my wife, I wish we were staying here, – and we were !
In the both hotels we stayed at, Holiday place guests seemed to get lots of preferential extras be over the the other tour companies, with the ‘couples extras’ of sparkling wine in room, complimentary dinner at Saratoga, massage at Blau Varadero, (together with sea view and sparkling wine in room), and extra meals in the a la carte restaurants.
All in all an excellent holiday – and we will be booking with Holiday Place next time..

Of course you may use this as recommendation for your company. This is the third time we have holidayed with Holiday Place….. the standard has been better each time than that of the big name holiday companies. e.g. we’ve been to Moon Palace Cancun twice, once with Thomas Cook and once with Holiday Place. Thomas cook was more and offered far less in terms of included trips etc.

I'm writing to thank you all for ensuring that we had a fantastic holiday in Cuba and a fabulous wedding. Both the hotels (Occidentale Playa Turquesa in Guardalavaca and Parque Central in Havana) were excellent. We have not stopped telling our friends and family about the lovely beach, the water sports, the seven swimming pools, riding at the local nature reserve and the experience of swimming with dolphins in Guardalavaca. Our tour guides - particularly Ariel on the countryside tour and Mercedes in Santiago de Cuba were also excellent - open, friendly and very knowledgeable. We learnt a lot.Â
Havana was also beyond all we had imagined - vibrant, lively and great architecture. We loved the vintage car tour and the horse and carriage ride, as well as wandering the streets in the old town.
Our wedding on the beach was brilliant. Both the London staff (you and Gosia and the rest of the team) - and the people in Cuba (particularly Jordi - your Holiday Place rep in Cuba and Yami - the hotel Guest Services Manager) - along with the rest of the staff at the hotel did a superb job in ensuring that everything ran beautifully.
We have travelled alot - and I can honestly say that this was the best holiday we've ever had - the wedding was just the icing in the cake.Â
I would also recommend The Holiday Place as a tour company - you all went out of your way to make sure that every thing went as planned.
Please pass our thanks on the every-one. We will be coming back to Cuba soon.Â
Only one thing is outstanding - we were told that the wedding certificate would arrive in about a month - and we have not heard anything yet. Could you check to find out if it is one its way?Â

I called your office earlier today to say what great service we received from your holiday reps in both Luxor and Hurghada on our recent trip.
We stayed at eth Sheraton in Luxor for 3 days and met Hary who was very helpful and informative. The Sheraton exceeded our expectations and we had a really great time there. We went onto Hurghada and the representative there was also very helpful. Informative on local matters of culture, exports etc. We stayed at the Hilton Long Beach which whilst it is large was very nice. The room we were allocated was fabulous, with sea view, large balcony and lots of space. We did have one small problem with the food at a beach bar, as this part of the holiday was all inclusive, but having complained the staff at the hotel were more than apologetic and went to great lengths to correct the situation (served pizza by the Food & Beverages manager, not normally available, and treated as if we were in a restaurant). We really did feel we would be ignored but they went the extra mile.
So we are left with some great memories of Egypt, so much so we intend to return and will do so with the Holiday Place and would not hesitate to recommend your company.

Been back for a little while now but wanted to say what a great holiday we had Cuba. The Nacional was exactly what we expected, faded splendour, glad we did it even if the water only dripped out of the shower head.
The Occidental was amazing, when I say amazing I mean beyond anything I could possibly have expected. The staff were fantastic (Butlers!...wow), the accommodation outstanding, the beach just stunning. It was beyond our wildest dreams.

Our return to the Saratoga was also good......apparently we were booked on a honeymoon package.....my divorce hasn't actually come through yet and it did raise expectations! The Saratoga room was superb with fabulous views over the Capitol building and beyond. Penny used the rooftop pool a little more than me.
Saratoga is what it says on the box, modern and very comfortable.....perhaps showing our delight in the faded charm of Nacional. I know you were a bit concerned about Nacional, but it was more relaxing than the Saratoga, being a bit out of town, cooler because of the sea breeze and quite charming on the veranda with a coffee or a drink, but faded can be charming if that's what you're prepared for.

All the guides books say Cuba is not the place for great food. It was acceptable in most places, the Saratoga though was poor on the food front.

So, well done. Now I understand the difference between one travel agent and another, and what a difference, you did a great job.

I hardly mentioned the staff on the ground in Cuba. We were astonished that reps turned up at the Nacional at 4am with a cab to accompany us to the airport and reps or cabs were always waiting and ready to take us on the next leg of our journey. The quality of your staff on the ground was excellent and better than anything I have ever experienced with a tour operator. Not just good solid advice about were to go and what to do either, they were nice people.

Perhaps also worth mentioning the internal transfer. I was slightly reticent, thinking Cuba and old Russion 8 seater jet or something, actually it was a brand new plane, a forty seater and very comfortable.

The holiday was wonderful.The service on the boat was excellent as was the tour guide. The reps you use over there are also excellent. I do not know if we were just lucky, but we had one rep who stayed with just the 2 of us when we arrived at the airport, to go home ,and then when we went thro to security there was another rep there who waited with us while we checked in and went thro passport control. We were certainly well looked after. The combination of the cruise and the stay at the resort hotel was a good recommendation from yourself. Thank you.

Cuba has to be one of my favourite countries I have visited. The more I go, the more I want to go back!
You feel very safe and the people are amazing - so warm & friendly. It is the perfect destination for a combination city/beach holiday.
Havana is one of the most special and interesting cities I have been to. The hotel I stayed in - NH Parque Central - is fantastic. It is a beautiful hotel with a brilliant location in the heart of the city and it has a wonderful roof top pool which is perfect for relaxing after a day of sightseeing!
Varedero is a wonderful beach resort which was perfect to unwind after a few hectic days in Havana. The Iberostar Varedero is amazing - it has the most beautiful pools and beach. The staff there are very friendly and helpful.
Through The Holiday Place we booked some great excursions both in Havana & Varadero - they are organised so well, you get to see so much and learn so much about Cuba from the guides who are so informative.
The Holiday Place has an amazing set up in Cuba and I cannot speak highly enough of the staff there. They are all so warm and friendly and did everything possible to ensure we all had a great time. The way we were treated made our trip even more memorable and we wont forget them!
Cuba is a country I will definately visit again, and after this experience would only book through The Holiday Place.

We have just returned from a wonderful holiday in Cuba. We just wanted to praise everyone involved with the organisation of the holiday here and in Cuba. We had read feedback from other holiday makers a month before we left and it gave us some concerns about the hotel in Guardalavaca. We were very happy to find that the comments were very far from what we found on our arrival. The hotels staff and the Holiday Reps were all so great. Yordy our Rep was so helpful and such a lovely person. She helped us gain a better understanding of the Island and the Cubian people. She deserves credit for not forcing a sales pitch but selling us trips through wanting to see more of the Island and making us interested in the Cubian way of life and the lovely people we'd meet. We certainly weren't disappointed as it made our holiday a lasting memory, please pass on our thanks to her. The Holiday Place are very lucky to have her as their Rep. she is a credit to herself and your company. We hadn't realised before meeting her that the Cubian people were so well educated and most of the staff have degrees and are very intelligent people. You just assume that education would be hard for the people to attend as they seem so poor in finanical status in general, best we try and read between the lines of the mass media ( no surprise there then). We can't praise 'The Holday Place' enough, we had a 'couple's package'. Massage and Romantic Meal as an extra which were great. We will certainly recommend you to everyone and hope that others will do the same. The 'Central Parque Hotel' in Havana was also lovely and was a prime location for anyone wanting to explore the City, which was great on the horse and trap. The rooms and food were great at both Hotels with very effective AC. which was a life saver for us English who are not used to the temperatures in Cuba. Thanks again to you all, can't fault any part of the holiday, except it went too quickly!

I felt I must email to let you know what a fabulous holiday we have had.Â
We have never booked with the Holiday Place before but were most impressed with the organisation from start to finish. Our booking was taken efficiently and everything arrived when you said. The hotels, The Parque Central in Havana and Sandals in Varedero were superb and so were the staff. The reps at both hotels were helpful and efficient. All trips we booked were excellent apart from one at Sandals. This trip was a new trip to a nice restaurant overlooking the sea but we felt the staff there were not helpful or friendly and we felt the trip was overpriced. We did pass this constructive criticism on to Sandra the rep at Sandals.
We felt extremely well cared for the whole visit and felt valued as a customer. We will probably not return to Cuba, not because we didn’t love it but because there are lots of other places we want to see, but we have recommended it to lots of friends.

Your reps are the best I have ever come accross and I've certainly done a lot of travelling in my time. We started off at Sharm El Sheikh and then on to Luxor for 1 night and off again the next morning for 7 nights on the Ra II cruising the Nile. When we came off the Nile we flew to Cairo for 2 nights stay at the Ramses Hilton Hotel before flying back to England.

Asi is a wonderful person, who went well beyond her call of duty to make sure we had everything we wanted and more, and for that, I can't thank her enough.
I have attached some photos sent over by the professional photographer.
I now have the certificate of marriage given to me in Cuba. Can you tell me if this is recognised in the UK or whether there is anything I need to do now I am back in the UK to get the official documentation? I really don't where to start but I am aware that I can't do anything without an official marriage certificate.

We did appreciate the reps being at the airport to welcome us and give us information on the resort/hotels, and getting breakfast in the room the morning after we arrived, as well as being able to book a romantic meal for 2 at one of the restaurants at the Paradisus were also very nice touches.
We will be going again to Cuba same time next year (February) and I am sincerely hoping that the quote and service will get from the Holiday Place will be as good as the one for this year so that we can book through you again and enjoying two wonderful weeks in a wonderful resort.

I have just returned with my wife, Alison and daughter Lorna, from a ten-day holiday in Egypt from 9 to 19 February. We spent three nights at Le Meridien Pyramids followed by a seven nights Nile Cruise on th eMS Odyssey of the Presidential Cruise Line and were members of a party of eight friends from Guernsey, with Mrs J Dorey as teh lead Member (who made the booking with your company). Transfers were arranged by Eastmar Tours.
I rarely feel the need to put pent to paper in this way, but wanted to tell you what an excellent holiday we had. Every aspect of it was first class, the hotel, the transfers, your representatives in Cairo and on the cruise, the Egyptologists, the food and the service on the boat. We felt like VIPs and knew, on every step of the way, that people were on hand to answer any questions or provide us with any help or assistance we might need. It is difficult to name individuals when everyone has been so attentive but we would particularly like to thank:
David Adel Aziz - who greeted us and looked after us so well in Cairo and gave us his mobile number with a request to contact him any time day or night if we had any questions or problems.
Shaima - our Egyptologist in Cairo whose love of all things Egyptian was infectious.
Elia K Takla - our Egyptologist and tour guide for the cruise who was very professional both with regard to his lectures and his organisation of the trips which, under his guidance, were fascinating and provided us with so many superb memories...

My husband and I travelled to Guardalavaca on 24th January for 10 days, I could not fault any of your services. All of your reservation staff that I dealt with made the process of booking a holiday simple, they were very attentive to details and always responded promptly to any queries that I had.
Transport from the airport to the hotel and pick up from the hotels going to the airport was seamless.
Our guide in Guardalavaca, Yordi, is just a treasure. Nothing was too much trouble for her; she went out of her way to ensure we enjoyed our stay, which we did very much. She was readily available to us and is a font of good information.
In short The Holiday Place is one of the best companies that we have ever traveled with; I have recommended them to several friends and will definitely travel with them again.

We just wanted to send a short e mail just to say Thank You. We are glad we invested a little more money & went for a 5* Holiday for it made all the difference. All the guides who met us at the airport to take us to the boat & those who returned as to the airport at the end were all superb. Radamis II and all its’ staff were superb – the rooms, the service, the food, the entertainment – all first class! Our Egyptologist Guide, Ashaf, was also first class. All the arrangements he made for us, his insight into all the sites we visited, his general demeanour made our holiday. We asked him to arrange a visit to a Nubian village at very short notice, which he did and which turned out to be the highlight of our holiday. As you gather, we had a great holiday which exceeded our expectations.
However, there are 2 observations I would make.
Firstly, a little more guidance could be given on the local culture, particularly having sufficient understanding and money to pay the endless tips.
However, the holiday was fantastic, very memorable and exceeded our expectations. Thank You

We have just got back from the most wonderful holiday which as you know was booked through your company and was booked for us by Tariq, to let you know that the holiday was fantastic, a few of us went to Abu Simbel to see the marvellous temple there, we were met on our boat by the holiday rep for The Holiday Place, he seen to everything at the airport and we were met at the other end by another of your reps. The organisation for the trip was fantastic. Our tour guide was called Hani, what a delightful man he was pleasant, helpful, and very very knowledgable on the subject. He was up to see us off on our extra trips even though it was only 4 am. He was always smiling and anything that was asked of him was no trouble. My mother paid for the trip for us (8 of us altogether) and the staff in the kitchen made her a thank you cake for her and they presented this during our evening meal, accompanied by drums and lots of singing. It was fantastic and she loved it. Once again I would like to take the oportunity to thank your wonderful staff both before and during the trip, you made it a holiday of a lifetime....

We just cannot rate high enough the representative that you have placed there, Felix, he was absolutely brilliant. He has to be the best representative that we have ever encountered on a holiday. We saw him every single day, we booked some excellent trips through him also.
He was very informative, helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble. He saw off guests on every trip and each time when people were leaving to go home he was there to ensure there were no problems. He was a pleasure to meet.
If you are able to get word to Felix, please pass on our regards and to thank him for making our holiday so perfect and special. Cuba is a place we will return to, because we had such a great time, the weather was great, and there is so much more to see at other parts of the island. When we do return however, we would just have to look Felix up to see which hotel he was working at mainly, as we understand your representatives move to other hotels after a period of time.
Everyone whom we spoke to in Cuba thought Felix was an excellent representative - so we are not the only ones!!

Just had to send an e-mail to say what a fantastic time we had in Cuba.
The rep in Guardalavaca (JODI) was fantastic.
One of the trips we went on was on our last day in Guardalavaca before we flew on to Havana, it was, we were told, a new trip that only The Holiday Place do. The trip was billed as "Inside the countryside tour".
We were given the option to drive our own 4X4 jeep as part of a convoy with a tour guide in the first & last jeeps.
We set off at 07:30am & did not return until 17:45pm.
What a full fun packed day it was, it started with a short drive to a lagoon where we were divided into pairs and given a jet ski (more of a mini sit on speed boat really) & set off on a ½ hour self drive jet-ski trip around the mangroves & out to sea.
From there it was out into the country to a cigar factory & then a hat making factory where we all received a free cigar & free straw hat.
Then it was off to a farm for a cup of real country style Cuban coffee, then to a ranch for a drink out of fresh coconuts, & a fruit buffet before a ½ hour horse ride, then lunch which was fresh spit roasted suckling pig accompanied by rice & salad, it was so good my eldest son who is almost 17 had FOUR helpings.Then some locals turned up for a afternoon Cuban party with live music.
Finally a drive back through the mountain villages where we could give presents to the children before returning to the hotel.
If I rate the "Inside the countryside tour" out of ten it would have to be 10+ !!

I would like to feedback some impeccable customer service I recently received from The Holiday Place in March 2006.
I booked a holiday to Cuba for me and my partner in December 2005 for 25th March 2006. A week before our departure I enquired about the possibility of us getting married whilst in our resort in Varadero. Cuba. I was fortunate enough to deal with Agnes who appeared to go out of her way to arrange this. Following frequent discussions over the phone and via e-mail our wedding was booked and confirmed for 31st March 2006. Agnes did a very good job at keeping me informed throughout the process and ensured I was aware of all that was required prior to our departure.
On arriving at our beach resort we were assisted by Ana the wedding co-ordinator. Her service was fantastic and our wedding went extremely well without a hitch which was obviously due to everyone's thorough planning and organisation. In addition we received some beautiful flowers and a card form The Holiday Place and felt very spoilt by the hotel on our wedding day with there services and attention.
My husband and I are very grateful for the impeccable service we received from both The Holiday Place and Hotel Alameda, Varadero. I have enclosed a few pictures of our happy day and would like these and my thanks passed to Agnes.
I would also like for you to pass onto Agnes that there was a jolly good reason we married at such short notice as on our arrival home I discovered I was six weeks pregnant.

I would like to say that my wife and I have just experienced two wonderful weeks in Egypt which was organised by The Holiday Place.
The organisation from arrival in the country to the departure was first class. All arrangements that were made were timed to the minute. Every one of the representatives were there to help us have a holiday to remember and nothing was too much trouble for them.
We sailed on the RA II and it was a perfect floating hotel. The staff were of the highest quality and the food was extremely well presented, more than sufficient and suited all tastes.
It is very difficult to select a member of staff from such a first class group who were always so helpful and pleasant, but I would like to say that our guide on the RA II, Esslam, was so thoughtful, well informed and able to pass on his knowledge to the members of our party. He made the history of Egypt come to life.
We transferred from the RA II to the Hilton Long Beach at Hurghada. A perfect Red Sea Hotel. The security on the transfer was the first class. The food,staff and location of the Hilton could not be faulted in any way. There was plenty to do at all times of the day, in fact everything was geared up to making our holiday perfect.
From there we transferred to the Sheraton at Luxor and once more the choices made by Holiday Place were the best.
My wife and I have traveled to many places and had some wonderful holidays and we would both like to say how much we appreciate the organisation of the Holiday Place and would not hesitate in recommending it to anyone or using your organisation in the future.

We have just returned from our cruise on the Nile on the Ra II and I would like to say how much we enjoyed the holiday.
We were concerned about arriving at Luxor airport, who would be there to meet us and how we would identify them, but our fears were totally groundless. As soon as we walked through the door in Arrivals, we saw a clipboard with 'The Holiday Place' and the gentleman holding it couldn't have been more helpful. He helped us through the formalities of arriving in Egypt, then gave us a commentary on the bus taking us to our boat.
We were very impressed with the Ra II - especially the happy crew. I think that the staff will reflect the state of the boat, and the Ra II's staff were all friendly and obviously very happy and always willing to give any assistance we needed. The standard of cleanliness was over and above what we expected and the food was superb. We also enjoyed the entertainment offered on the ship - especially the Cocktail 'Welcome' evening and the Fancy dress night.
As for our tour guide, Mostafa Aziz, I cannot express highly enough our appreciation for him. He is obviously very passionate about Egypt - both ancient and modern - and his talks brought everything to life for us. His sense of humour and infinite information made everything really interesting and we all learnt an enormous amount during the week. He was also on hand at any time to answer any queries or help with problems. It was nice also being in a small group as we got to know the others in the group really well and felt that we had more individual attention from Mostafa.
The transfer to the airport on the way home also went without a hitch. The guide who accompanied us also took pains to ensure that everything was okay and to explain the formalities and stayed with us until we were at passport control.
Everything about the holiday was excellent and we will certainly consider booking with your company again.

Firstly may I just say a BIG thank you to all you staff, Tony who took my original enquiry and Sejal who dealt with my many continuations and forward travel plans whilst I was embedded in the wilds!!!! of Dominican Republic in a hotel who seemed unable to connect with UK, most of the time, and also incapable of passing on faxes or emails unless they had sat on a desk for at least 48 hours.
They were both brilliant and I hope Sejal received flowers as a bit of a thank you.
Secondly may I say that Gerlinde, the Holiday Place rep in Dominican was really nice and extremely helpful and when I was very poorly, went down to the local village to get some re-hydration salts for me, which helped me to get better.
These local reps are so important if you are travelling alone and unfortunately for her I have been to this hotel and the Dominican Republic for the last 10 years, so she was unable to offer any trips that I had not already done. However, she is a bright star and a fabulous representative of your Company.
Going to Cuba was a new country for me and there I met Hector. He has got to be the best travel representative in the World!!!!!!! The Playa Coco was not quite right, no dive centre and didn't fancy leaving over £8,000 worth of dive kit somewhere I wasn't going to be. He got me moved to the Melia Cayo Coco, managed to keep me there for the whole holiday took an interest in my diving, sorted out the right trips, got me a late check out; he was SUPERB.
Cannot heap enough praise on this young man and I hope that you can pass on my comments or congratulate him for me and for your Company as at least Employee of the year/world - whatever. He could not be beaten.
The only downside really was immigration both in and out of Havana, of which you have no control over, especially the queue to have luggage wrapped! pre check in on departure.
I could never recommend the Melia Habana - dreadful hotel, awful service and room service food inedible, which was a shame for the last two nights of the holiday.
I have and will recommend your holiday service and will look forward to getting in touch soon with Sejal re. Egypt.

We were really lucky, they managed to upgrade us to an Ocean View room which had a lovely view, sunny in the morning which was perfect when they provided Room service for breakfast.
I would strongly recommend the hotel, although it is predominantly older Canadians. There's plenty going on, but you can find peace and quiet too if you want it! We will add another very positive review to Trip Advisor.

This is to let you know that we had a very good holiday on our recent Nile cruise and stay in Luxor and Cairo.
The boat Nile Odyssey was very good, the food plentiful and nice and the service on board excellent.
Your agents Eastmar Travel were very efficient and helpful and took care of our travel to and from the airport very well.
We would make one suggestion though, customers should be given the choice of staying in Cairo either in the city centre or else out in Media City. Although the Movenpick Hotel in Media City was very nice and service was good, the time taken to travel into Cairo was 45 minutes one way.

Everything that was put into place by yourself within the itinerary worked like clockwork in terms of transfers and the availability of your representatives.
Hotel Sevilla was central with the bed & breakfast basis suiting very well. People often complain about food in Cuba - I could not - it was excellent and so was the restaurant down by the harbour which we discovered. Hotel Sevilla is in a central location steeped in history within Old Havana was excellent. My mate and myself found that this hotel and the five night stay was about right for embracing the sights, sounds and smells of the old city. The Cubans have rhythm and music filled the air throughout the day and the evenings.
Breezes Jibacoa was a total contrast with the all-inclusive aspect. Again, the food and the accommodation were excellent.
This was my first time in Cuba and I will be back.
Travelling from Northern Ireland to Gatwick didn't add any problems and The Holiday Place ensured that we got a holiday with sunshine which was good value for money. In fact, please send me some more copies of 'Cuba: The Cuba Experience' as I would like to recommend your company and Cuba to friends.
I came across your company on the Internet during my research of Cuba and I put you 'through the hoops' to come up with a holiday to suit departure dates etc.

We arrived at Puerto Plata airport (Dominican Republic), where we were greeted by a representative of The Holiday Place who took us straight to our transport. We had already been to this hotel last June, but we loved the place and the staff so much that we wanted to return. The Holiday Place rep met us the next morning to talk us through and refresh us about the hotel and excursions, he couldn't have been more friendly towards us if he tried.
We had a relaxing and exciting stay again.
On our leaving day the mini bus picked us up from the hotel and took us straight to the airport. Everything was really well organised. So thank you again for such a lovely holiday.
I definitely recommend The SuperClubs Breezes hotel to anyone who wishes to go to the Dominican Republic, also definitely recommend The Holiday Place for the company to book your holiday and travel with.

I’ve just collected the photos of my recent trip on the RA II cruising from Luxor to Aswan and had to drop you a line of thanks.
The holiday was the most wonderful experience made all the more memorable by the excellent and friendly service given by the members of the crew on the RA II. The cabins were clean, comfortable and spacious and the food extremely good.
Particular highlights included drifting in a hot air balloon over sugar cane fields and the Valley of the Kings whilst watching the Egyptian sunrise – truly magical, and listening to the stories behind the Temples brought to life for us by the exceptional tour guide.
I was amazed that visits to 7 temples, the Botanical Gardens and even the tombs in the Valley of the Kings were all included in the cost of the holiday.
I will be calling you again soon as thought I would try Cairo next!

The airport transfers ran smoothly and were very comfortable, we arrived at the hotel at 9.30 a.m. We where were given a complimentary breakfast and were able use our room from 11a.m.
The room itself was perfect, and the hotel decor, facilities and service were fantastic.
We enjoyed the half board much more than expected, as Sloanes Brasserie was first class. We also had a memorable meal in Indego, the hotel's Indian restaurant.

Forgive me for writing to you again. But excellent service and customer knowledge is something that should be praised.
We have been booking holidays personally with Ian for i think the past 4 years. He has sent us on some truly memorable holidays to Taba, Sharm, and the Dominican. All the resorts we have left to Ian to choose. This holiday to Hurghada, really was the cherry on the icing on the cake. It was spectacular. I recently returned from a holiday in Egypt, and I want to tell you that it was excellent.
From booking the holiday, to travel arrangements, flights, cruise, hotel, everything either met or exceeded my expectations and I have already passed on my recommendations to friends, colleagues and family.
My holiday was with Nile Presidential Cruises and the Sheraton Hotel in Luxor.
It is fair to say that I received nothing but the best service from everyone involved, but I would like to single out 2 people for special mention.
Firstly, Paola Peverati.
In the first place, I sent a general email to a number of travel specialists, saying that I did not want to spend lots of time trawling round all of the websites to find a holiday that matched my needs, and so I put together all the details of the holiday that I wanted.
All of the other companies who bothered to reply ignored the request and offered me a link to their website.
Paola was the only one who took the time to answer properly and she gave me detailed answers to all of my requests and volunteered other useful information besides.
And that is why I spent my money with you. There were also a couple of changes that I needed to make to the original holiday and Paola was helpful in every way.
Please pass on my thanks to her for all of her help.
Lots of companies talk about customer service, but few deliver as well as she did.
Secondly, Romani, the egyptologist guide on the cruise. Over the course of the week he taught us everything we needed to know about ancient and present-day Egypt to get the most out of our visit. All of this was done in a light-hearted and friendly way and he could not have done more to help.
He shared with us his knowledge and his love of Egypt and brought the whole thing to life for us, and I intend to see more of Egypt in the future.
So, thanks for everything. The Holiday Place will be the first website I check in the future, and I look forward to traveling with you again.

My partner and I traveled with you in May 05, to the Playa Pesquero, Guardalavaca and then on to The Nacional in Havana.

Hello All,
We have just returned from an excellent 16 days in Cuba. We'd like to thank you all for such a well organised and efficient job done by all the The Holiday Place representatives in Cuba, especially on our return flight to to the UK. At the Havana airport there was a long delay, having to queue for 2 hrs 15 mins just to check in, but one of your representatives was there, walking up and down the very long queue keeping us informed of what was happening, and such the delay didn't seem so bad after all.
The Hotel Paradisus Rio De Oro was nothing but "Excellent". The food was especially something to be enjoyed, we didn't have one bad meal.
We will certainly be recommending The Holiday Place to friends and family in the future, along with the Hotel Paradisus Rio De Oro. We also had two nights in Havana, again excellent.

Dear Loreta,
The first hotel 'Club Amigo' in Guardalavaca was excellent and we would highly recommend it to anyone. The room and all the facilities were excellent, the meals were fresh, well prepared and the choice was fantastic. (The cocktails were even better!) All the staff were very helpful - nothing was too much trouble.
The rep in the area (Miss Yordi Figueredo Perez) was excellent. I left my camera on one of the tour busses and she did everything possible to help.
The tour of the ex-sugar cane plantation and a trip on a very old train is one you should recommend to others.
The second hotel, 'Brisas Sierra Del Mar' (Santiago de Cuba) was equally as good in many ways although smaller and quieter. We think the food was even better but there was slightly less choice. The setting of the hotel was stunning although the beach on this coast was not as good as on the Atlantic side of the island.
It was further out of Santiago than we had expected - about 1hr and the road into the city was almost non-existent in places!
The hotel in Havana was perhaps the only disappointment - we had been spoilt by the other two. It was quite 'posh' and the room was excellent but the service - was unimpressive.
On reflection we should have only stayed in Havana for three nights.
All in all an excellent holiday - we will recommend 'The Holiday Place' to all our friends.
Thanks again for your help. We will certainly consider Cuba again in the future.

Just wanted to say what a brilliant holiday my fiancé and I just had cruising down the Nile in RA II.
The boat was beautiful, definitely one of the more luxurious with balconies in every room, and the service was impeccable. We were the youngest couple on the boat, but did not feel at all out of place.
The itinerary was brilliant, and we didn't come into contact with millions of other tourists the whole time. Additionally, because we booked with yourselves rather than Thompsons or Thomas Cook, we had a small group of just 6 people which made our tours extremely personal.
Although we did something amazing everyday and saw so much, it was still a very relaxing holiday. The food on board is amazing, every single member of staff was friendly, funny, polite and oh so helpful.

Having recently returned from Sharm el Sheikh we thought it appropriate to comment on how well it all went.
Our outward flight left on time and despite our fears over delays when we got to Sharm, your representative from
Eastmar Travel(Rabie Nassaf) was there to meet us.
He had our visa stamps ready,we were quickly through visa and passport controls and the Eastmar Bus was waiting to take us to the Hyatt Regency.
Rabie gave us a brief breakdown of key information during our journey and made arrangements to see us at the Hyatt the following day.
The rooms in the hotel were everything that we had expected,spacious,well fitted out and a full sea view right out across the Red Sea.
The following day we got all the information we needed from Rabie,he introduced us to the area and the hotel and was most helpful in answering our questions. He arranged a spectacular private tour to Cairo for us made every single arrangement and provided us with a guide who was with us for 2 days. The Eastmar bus was ready for us whenever we moved between sites of interest and that trip,the guide,the drivers etc will be a lasting and wonderful memory for us of Egypt.
We found all aspects of the hotel good except that we found the food a little disappointing and the service could sometimes be slow and offhand. However we have made those comments to the hotel and overall we would rate the hotel as very good in all other respects. The hotel even allowed us to stay in our room for 3 hours beyond check out time,without charge,because of how late our flight was.
Rabie stayed in touch throughout the holiday by phone and visit and was there to meet the Eastmar bus when we arrived at Sharm Airport,he smoothed our path through check in and right up to the last minute provided information on our delayed flight. The flight was delayed a while and we suspect this was because of snow etc at Gatwick - believe me Sharm Airport is not somewhere you would want to spend too many hours unless you really had to!.
All in all this was a great holiday made even better by the services of the Eastmar rep who we cannot praise too highly.
To be honest we had been a little worried since we had never heard of the Holiday Place before and we wondered whether we would suffer once in the resort because we had not booked with Thomson etc - it was actually exactly the opposite we moved far more quickly on arrival than did people who had booked with some of the big name companies.
Many thanks for arranging this holiday - we would use the Holiday Place again and will recommend you to others.

We have just returned from a twin centre holiday to Cuba booked through yourselves.
I would like to thank Adarsh for the advice given at the time of booking, excellent suggestion of hotels (Rio de Oro & Parque Central), excellent value also. We could not fault the service you give. The letter issued prior to our departure indicating the change in currency regulations was something others in the hotel did not receive from their operators (Thomson, Thomas Cook, Hayes & Jarvis etc.) and was especially welcome as we were just about to order a stack of dollar bills, nice touch.
We had absolutely no problems in resort and the information given by Felix at the Rio De Oro was invaluable. Our flight from Holguin to Havana was delayed for 3.5 hours and we were informed of this whilst waiting at the hotel for collection. Our transfer bus simply came 3.5 hours later allowing us to enjoy the hotel for that bit longer (the all inclusive bar obviously). When we got to Holguin airport we met people who had had to wait there for the whole of the delay time (traveling with Thomson, Thomas Cook etc..). Again, top info.
Your guys in Havana (Elio and Yacel) were also especially good. We only had a short time in Havana and the advice given from Elio was amazing and we packed so much in to that short space of time due to his good advice and recommendations. What would otherwise of been a relatively daunting city (especially after 11 days chilling out at the beach) was a breeze thanks to your team there. Havana is one place we will be going back to. Salsa clubs, great bars, great restaurants. Prado Neptuno across the road from Parque Central is spot on.
All in all, a fantastic holiday at a realistic price. We have recommended you to people we met at the Rio de Oro who were having problems with their tour company (Thomson, Thomas Cook etc..) and will recommend you to many more I am sure.
I would like to thank you for a hassle free trip and I can guarantee we will be booking with you again in the future.

My husband and I went to Egypt with your company on 4th October 2004 and I am writing to let you know what a wonderful time we had and how impressed we were with the organisation of the holiday and the professionalism of your staff.
We were met at Luxor Airport by Hany who assisted us through visa and passport control and took us to the boat, the Nile Odyssey. Our cases were put into our cabins by cheerful staff and sandwiches, fruit and water had been left for us in the cabin as we arrived quite late.
The following day we were met by our Egyptologist guide for the week, John Gamil Kalipha. All week he proved to be exceptionally knowledgeable, entertaining, organised and approachable and made our stay even more enjoyable. He was a delightful man and I cannot praise him enough and should I return to Egypt, which I would love to do soon, I would hope to encounter him again.
The boat itself was lovely, food plentiful and delicious and the staff were excellent.
At the end of our cruise, we were again met by Hany and taken to the Luxor Sheraton where we enjoyed a luxurious day and a half before being picked up and taken to the airport enjoying a business class flight to Sharm el Sheik.
We were met in Sharm by Rabie, again a lovely person, very welcoming and knowledgeable, who took us to the Sharks Bay Hilton. A beautiful room, fantastic setting and again lovely staff. He met us the next day and organised our excursion and then returned to take us back to the airport at the end of our stay. He organised our breakfast from the hotel and our luggage at the airport getting us the seats we wanted on the plane. Each time we tried to tip him he just asked us to give it to the driver.
I had reservations before I went having booked via the internet with no brochure but I have to say that with regards to our treatment, our accommodation and the professional reps and our guide, it was the best holiday I ever had. The timekeeping was incredible, always there at the allotted tome, there was a great choice of excursions but no hard sell, and I must say again all the Egyptian staff we met were without exception, friendly, efficient, knowledgeable and exceptionally helpful. I would be grateful if you could pass on my remarks to Rabie and particularly John and to their supervisors.
People are often quick to criticise and not so swift to compliment and say thank you. I hope I have redressed the balance a little and I hope that those who work so hard on your behalf get the pat on the back they deserve.
Thank you again for arranging our holiday, it was a joy and a privilege to be there.

Subject: 30th Wedding Anniversary in Cuba

We have just returned from our second holiday in Cuba with the Holiday Place and it was brilliant!
I wanted to say 'thank you', particularly to Shyama as she passed on our special requests about leg room seats and the fact that we were celebrating our 30th Wedding Anniversary. We stayed in three different hotels and they all marked the anniversary for us, with bottles of rum, baskets of fruit and champagne! All of them ensure that we had great rooms.
The Maritim in Varadero was beautiful, the room was spectacular with a balcony and view of the sea, we were right next to the beach. The Parque Central lived up to its name and we had a great view of the park and the Capitol building, but our favourite was the Nacional. We had visited it last year and decided that if we ever went back to Cuba we'd stay there. Shyama requested particular rooms for us and we got a high room facing the sea with a fabulous view - perfect! It's in such a marvelous setting. This is where we had our anniversary and the dinner there was one of the best meals I have had anywhere in the world.
The reps were all really helpful, even though they did have several problems to deal with while we were there, including the hurricane.
Once again, thanks for organising such a fantastic holiday for us, we'll be back again to arrange another one!

I am writing to you after returning from the above hotel, booked with your company. I felt it necessary to write and tell you of the excellent service I received by on of your team.
I only booked my holiday about 6 weeks ago I was looking for somewhere special to go to celebrate my anniversary. After trawling through numerous brochures and making endless calls, I telephoned your office and was greeted by a FAITH DOUGLAS.
I was so please Faith booked my holiday. Not only was she pleasant, but honest in her thoughts and review of this hotel (this is quite rare). Having traveled all over the world on both business and pleasure, it was important the right holiday was booked. Having been to Mexico on a number of occasions also meant that I was looking for something just the bit different and special.
Faith delivered in every way. From answering simple questions to arranging/confirming details with the hotel. To be honest. I was a little dubious about the hotel as it had recently opened and the reviews over the internet were mixed. The photos were standard and I really was looking for a true picture of what it would be like. Faith reassured me and it was only when I set foot in the hotel did I realise that it was a first class resort. Everything about the holiday was special. The hotel itself was superb. I found it hard to fault much ( very hard for me!). The dining experiences were fantastic with great food and drinks. The best of all was probably the service. I have NEVER had such good service anywhere in the world! I know that on All Inclusive, everything is included but we felt it necessary to tip after every meal as it was that good!
To summarise, it was only down to Faith that I booked this hotel for my Anniversary. It was everything she said it would be (and more!). She must be a valuable member of your team and if there are any sales awards I think she should get it. It was a refreshing change to deal with someone who truly cared, rather than just another voice at the end of the phone. My experience was a good one with The Holiday Place and I will definitely be using you next time.

Having returned last week from our holiday in the Dom Rep, I just thought you might like to hear how well it went. Firstly the Air France flights were excellent - it was really worthwhile flying to Paris for scheduled flights, great on board service and comfortable seats with legroom!
The Costa Caribe hotel (to which I admit having had some reservations) was clean, beautifully planted and has some of the friendliest staff I have encountered in the Caribbean. Combined with great food with lots of choice and fairly drinkable wine, we had a very good time. Just to say it can be very lively at Easter when the locals move in for a huge party!
Anyhow, thank you for getting the holiday for us - we had a ball - I'll be in touch for next time.

I'm writing to say thank you to everyone in your company who organised our holiday in Cuba last year (We departed on November 8th - 16 days Guardalavaca and 4 days Havana) People are quick to complain if things go wrong - but often overlook a quick thank you note.
From the very first telephone contact with Tony,right through to the
airport and airline staff, the local reps and transfer guides, the hotel staff – in fact everyone we had any contact with from your company was just fantastic and very, very helpful. We were particularly impressed with the rep in Havana, I'm sorry I don't remember his name, but he had an office at the Comodoro cottages - that should pin point him. He was undoubtedly the best holiday rep I've ever come across, cheerful, well organised and very informative.
The accommodation in both resorts was terrific - the food! Oh well we wont go on about the food, and I needed to lose some weight anyway! The Comodoro Cottage apartment was fantastic - I don't know why the guide books don't give it a better write up.
Anyway, I won’t waffle on - just a BIG thank you to all of you who were involved.

The flight via Air Jamaica was fantastic. The plane was fabulous; lots of leg room. clean and breezy. The food very authentic. The service excellent.
We had a fabulous room in the Hotel Nacional with a view of the sea and the front court. The Hotel fulfilled the description in the brochure. The historical aspects made it extra special.

Terry and I got back from Egypt just over a week ago and we just wanted to say that we had the most fabulous holiday and we sure could not have done that without you. The way we were looked after was superlative and it really was a memorable holiday – the best looked after, the best hotel/boat – it was unbelievable.
Everything was down to a mark – not only no faults whatsoever but care and consideration by all. So a big big THANK YOU!!! We are already saving up for our next holiday which will most definitely be booked via yourself!!!

Hi,
Just a quick note to say thanks for organizing a great holiday for us to Cuba. Your advice regarding the hotel choice in Havana was invaluable. We are so pleased that we stayed in the Florida Hotel, it was truly wonderful, old style Havana. We enjoyed being in the hustle and bustle of old Havana, and in the comfort and elegance of a small hotel.
We would also like to extend our thanks to Felix, our rep at Las Brisas, he is a true professional, working hard to ensure everybody has the best possible time there. He is obviously very busy but remains cheerful and friendly and has a very positive approach to his work.
Las Brisas is a great hotel and we particularly enjoyed the un spoilt countryside surrounding it. We even helped a lady herd her goats away from the hotel grounds.
