Cuba has been my most unique holiday ...

Cuba has been the most unique and one of the most incredible countries I have ever visited. From the moment I arrived in the airport, the reps made me feel welcomed and made my stay at Cuba enjoyable. To see how people lived their lives truly fascinated me. During my stay at the Capital city of Havana, I went to a cigar factory and it was very interesting to see how a cigar was hand made from the tobacco leaves. I also learnt how rum was made in a rum factory, which also greatly interested me. I learnt to understand that Cuba is famous for their rum and cigars and came home with many bottles of rum and "Romeo and Juliet" and "Cohiba" cigars (one of the best cigars you can get). Pinar Del Rio was a beautiful place to go to. I went on a boat in a cave, saw waterfalls and overlooked a mountain. This was truly a scene I will never forget. My tourist guide also taught me the history of the revolution and Che Gavara. After learning the history, it made me realise how important it is for people to be aware of what happened. Just walking around the city was a unique experience. Numerous scenes such as seeing the little children play on the road, family simply spending time together, people working hard on the road just to survive on six pounds a month, looking at the houses and not to forget the amazing and colourful Cadillac cars were scenes that will stick with me forever.Everywhere I went, I was able to obtain the feel of the culture by listening to the Cuban bands playing beautiful music. The band in my hotel played Santana which I requested and "cha cha cha", an unforgettable song. I also went to a club and did salsa dancing which I greatly enjoyed.I ended my trip in the holiday resort Varadero. Varadero was a perfect way to relax From the blue sea, to the white sand, the "mojitos", the water sports and the live shows at night was a perfect way to end my trip. At first, I thought Varadero was just like any other resort in the world. However, when I left the hotel, I went on a horse and carriage around Varadero and saw all the Cubans living in their houses, once again being able to understand the Cuban lifestyle even outside the resort. Then I was taken in the most beautiful park that was lit up, overlooking a river. I didn't expect this and this made being on the horse and carriage even more beautiful and exciting. From my words, it can be said that Cuba was an unbelievable and remarkable experience that will stay in my heart forever and I deeply recommend this trip.
Thank you.
